PHOTOGRAPHER
Born in Sydney, Australia, Stephanie Geddes was raised in a world shaped by images. As the daughter of a Fine Art Photographer, she grew up immersed in the quiet poetry of light, composition, and timing — an early influence that formed the foundation of her visual language. At thirteen, she was gifted her first camera, marking the beginning of a lifelong relationship with photography that she continues to explore both intuitively and academically. She studied photography at the University of New South Wales, refining her technical practice while developing a thoughtful, conceptual approach to image-making. After graduating, she worked in production, gaining valuable experience in visual storytelling and creative direction behind the scenes — an education that sharpens her eye and strengthens her ability to craft cohesive, considered narratives. While living in Copenhagen, Denmark, Stephanie took the decisive leap into full-time photography. Immersed in the city’s understated elegance and design sensibility, her aesthetic evolved with intention. The Scandinavian influence is evident in her work today — soft, minimal, and quietly feminine — defined by refined simplicity, natural light, and an atmosphere of calm restraint.
